What are your wall decals made from?

Just For You Wall Decals are made from 6mil professional grade vinyl in a matte finish. Our designs look as if it is painted onto your wall, rather than a shiny gloss sticker. Our materials are not the cheap craft stickers which are sometimes sold as decals, and do not adhere to walls very effectively and leave residue on removal. We use the same materials commercial signmakers use, which is specifically engineered for indoor use.

We print each order on matte white vinyl, which allows for endless color possibilities, contour cut each design and remove the access “negative” pieces, so you are left with only the artwork that you want to display.

 

Are your wall decals separate or one large sheet?

Large wall decals will come laid out on one sheet as you see it in the design, but cut around each shape, making each design component its own unit, this allows for each application. If you see pieces of the design touching, for example in an Alphabet decal, if the letters “A” and “B” are touching, they will be one piece. Or if the “Apple” is touching the letter “A” that is one piece. In instances where the letters or design elements are not touching, you can cut around the design and lay it out differently than how they arrive – for example using the letters as a border in a kids room.

Tree decals will come on multiple sheets, depending on the size. Smaller decals such as stars and polka dots come as peel and stick decals.
All wall decals made of the same material but the smaller shape decals do not need transfer paper. Each package contains detailed application instructions.

 

How long will the decals last?

Our self adhesive vinyl is perfect for a semi-permanent application, which means if you take care of your product, it can last for years! Our Self Adhesive Vinyl product will generally last 3-5 years indoors. Do try to keep your adhesive product away from sunlight and heat sources as this can damage the adhesive and cause your product to peel or cause color discoloration. Our self adhesive vinyl is not suitable for outdoor use. If you are looking for outdoor options, please email us and will provide you other vinyl options.

 

WALLPAPER + WALL MURALS?

What type of materials do you print your wallpaper and murals on?

We offer two different types of material for our wallpaper and mural designs:

1. Pre-pasted Wallpaper - semi-matte finish wall covering option. It is a permanent wall covering option and simply requires water to activate the adhesive pre-pasted on the back of the paper. It doesn't require additional glue or paste.
2. Self Adhesive Vinyl – a temporary wallpaper application that uses a peel and stick installation process. It is a semi-matte finish. This product can be removed easily from your walls and is great for renters!

How do I apply your wallpaper and wall murals?

Please keep in mind, it is our responsibility to provide you with a very high-quality product but it is your responsibility to install it correctly and with care. In order to guarantee it looks its best, please respect it by taking care while installing. 

Although all our wallpapers and murals are easy to install, we recommend two people for the install because of the size of the panels.
